Default 351 dart 4.000 or 4.100?

Im thinking of building a dart block stroker with 4.125 bore but i dont know what stroke to use I want torque from 1500 so im thinking 4.100 but i want it to rev fast up to 6200 shift point!!! so im thinking 4.000. what are the + - of both strokes?

What is the best comp. ratio for full timing and 91 pump gas?

Thanks !!

power band is set by the cam not the stroke

10:1 is good pump gas compression ratio.

call www.camshaftinnovations.com and tell them what you want
and they will work up the right cam for you.

Default RE: 351 dart 4.000 or 4.100?

When i gave rpm i was thinking of the 3.250 stroke in a 302 and the 3.400 the 347 has mor torque but the 331 has more horsepower at 6,000 and revs faster. so my question is is the 4.100 stroke extra cubs going to help or hurt my top end?

the new vet has 11:1 comp. and gets 600hp. can I hit 625+ with 10:1 and be streetable i will be running XFI will that let me run higher comp. ?

last question is running a light weight crank on a street car a good idea?
