Shorties are choking power band at 5,200 rpm, I know from engine dyno
results she will pull 470hp at 6,000rpm ( 470 X .82 = 385rwhp )
Get those LT's on there some day ................

ya i was gunna get shorties but i talked to other people off this site and they said "why would u want to get shorties?, they don't flow". so ya u can gain some extra hp w/ the longtubes.

you will gain ALOT more than 20 HP!!!!!
i uncapped my headers on my 302 and it wouldnt phart, those little 302s need a little back pressure, unless its a dome top motor.or spraying alot of nitrious.
on my 408 motor i have 1 3/4 long tubes and 3 inch muffler turn downs, i tried to run tail pipes and it killed it.
if i was you, i would put some 1 3/4 long tubes and if ya wanna run full exhaust, do not go any smaller than 2 1/2 on the pipe.
