Ok, First off i bought my self a 1982 mercury grand marquies... 351w auto overdrive and its got the stupid ford variable venturi carburetor, the two barrel. I have a stock 4 barrel intake what carb should i put on it? I am thinking of putting it in a mustang, but i dont mind the big car but i dont want to drop alot of $ into it. oh ya, i picked the car up for $200 it needed a water pump so i changed it in the guys yard and drove it home. but the carb runs to rich.. well i think it does

If you are going to drive a Marquis, leave the two barrel on it. If you drop it into a lighter car, then it is a different story. Especially if you want to get a little more out of it. Decide what you want to do first.

wonder if my rear end would fit into a mustang lx? Ill keep the 351 in the marquis for the summer. Any way i only got 7 days to work on it. i get my licence back on the 31st....... That mustangs gets me in trouble... lol

Well i am getting the racing itch hear. what would i need for running 13sec in the 1/4 with a 351w in a fox mustang? I dont want to change heads.... thats if i put it in a fox.
