Fuel injection-yes. I think you are asking about converting to roller? You can covert to roller for several hundred bucks. I think link bar lifters run around $4-500. You can save lots of money to keep it carb and not do the conversion. The carb will clean the engine bay also.

Sorry to disagree, but I was a carb guy for a lot of years (almost twenty years ago I was ripping out wiring harnesses and carbing 5.0's) however until recently I hated fuel injection. I hate to say but you simply cannot argue with the idea that if you want to build power and in most cases something that you drive a lot, then you will almost have to go fuel injected. I don't street any of my cars anymore, but there is a definite reason so many folks are going back to F.I. I would say if you have the bucks to go with it and get really comfortable with it. About the only way I was going to get myself into the low 9's was by making the decision to go Fuelie and just get comfortable with it, that or run insane compression and a ton of spray, which I have already done for the past 15 years.

I would say go fuel injection.

I tend to agree.

Do you have any good info or links for doing such a conversion.

I know it can be done and I have most of the parts here already but I'm concerned about hood clearance in my 67 FB. I really want to use a stock hood.

Sure let me know what you need, either p/m me or follow up here with what you need for links and/or advice, I'll tell you everyone that I have bought from, top to bottom.
