Some Help?
Ok, here it is.
Im 16 years old, and I drive a civic. Im looking to buy an 86-93 4 cylinder mustang hatchback. I know "why get a 4 cylinder?!?!?" but my dad gave me his old f100 pickup and... it has a 351c. Its been sitting for years and im about to start pulling it apart. I know im going to have to rewire the car, and I am going to keep the carb setup on the 351c. But a major question I have is, "Is it loical to put a 351 into a mustang that had a 4 cylinder?" "will the car beable to withstand that motor?" "or should I just go ahead and look for a 5.0 hatch, and pull the 302?" any answers, tips, or questions are appreciated!

RE: Some Help?
the body will hold up but you will have to change out the front suspesion , stiffen up the rear end , frame tie it ,up grade the breaks ,and there are a whole bunch of stuff that will have to be done but it could be done if you take your time and do your research, a guy in town here has a old 4 banger lx that he shoe horned a 460 into so a 351c is not to far out of reach.
