393 + Kenne Bell = New hood

393 + Kenne Bell = New hood
OK so got the 393 in last night...only find out that the KB makes the stock hood not fit!!! If it's not one thing, it's another with this car. I was trying to keep the "stock" look as much as possible...Anyone know where I can get a nice hood, farely cheap, that's not a 4in cowl? The back of the KB fits just fine, it's the pulley that makes the hood not close. Grrrrrrrr!!!!!! I'm short, and I can't drive a car that I can't see over the hood. If there's a huge cowl, prolly not gonna be able to see. So what I was thinking, something like the Eleanor Hood, where it's just a bump in the front type hood. Ideas?

I bet you end up with a 4"
You get used to them after a bit. ROFL!!!!!!
You will also have hood clearance problems around the
throttle body and the intake tube coming off of it.
You can alwys cut a hole in your hood and have half the pulley
sticking up thru it. lol

Yep, gaurantee you will have clearance problems
by your TB and inlet pipe also.
It's been a never ending nightmare to get mine to clear.
It's really not that bad seeing over a 4" hood, I thought
it would suck and look bad, but I hardly notice at all anymore
and like the looks more and more.
If you can see over your windshield wipers when they are
laying down, you can see over a 4" hood.
by your TB and inlet pipe also.
