351w build question
Hello all, been away from a mustang for over 10 years but just purchased another one last week.
Been reading post about swapping a 351 into a fox and I just picked up my 351 long block the other night for $100. My goal for the engine is 550hp with no power adder. My question is I have an 87 convertable and worried about the frame being twistedputting out this much power. What should I add for support to prevent this? Subframe connectors my only option? I would like to stay away from a roll cage because it will bea street/strip car.
Tranny and rear end will be discussed later, but worried about the chassis mods that need to be done and engine combo that will get me to 550hp. Any advise would be great.
