Default my new build sheet.

hey guys this is my new build shet.

I will be getting the shortblock soon from a guy a few blocks from my house.


1983 351w
stock crank
stock rods
KB #117 pistons about 11:1 with the heads below.
351c 2v open chamber heads (stock 76cc, but i will get them to 70-72cc)
custom cam from Jay Allen www.camshaftinnovations.com
hyd. roller lifters
custom length hardened push rods
1.7 RR
Ferrea valves
valve springs (undecided what brand)
cloyes dual roller timing chain.
351w swap oil pan

all ballanced and .030" over.

looking for some serious hp, lol. ONLY about 350+rwhp.

What do you guys think, and any oppinions let me know before i start to buy things.

why dont you just do a nice 331 build????? you could get all that if not a little more and you wouldnt have to change out the k member and other stuff

i am not changing the k-member at all. And i have a tunular k-member BTW for the "w" motors. And i am not putting a 302 in my car.

also Clevor track boss intake.

You wont be spraying for long with stock rods and crank you need a good short block like this.

i will be sprayong only at the track. Not all the time. I will run a smaller shot. I dont see a stock crank crapping out, more like the rods. And if i decide i need the spray, i will be getting a set of forged rods.
