408 suggestions (different than other post)
Im tryin to find out what would be the best bore sizing for a 408 stroker. I was told by the people that are probably going to do my engine work that i should have the block bored to .060 and then the stroker. The block i plan to get is bored out at .040 already would it be worth it to bore it out some more or is it ok where it is?
Also im looking for a good intake setup for a 408. The car will be daily driven with alittle track use.

If your block is bored out to .040 already it kinda risky boring much more that means your cylinder walls are going to be thin. What year is the block do you know.

and in what conditions would i need to? i mean i guess im just gonna stick with the .040 bore but for a second opinion i figured i would ask what u guys thought since the guy doing all my work probably said to bore it out to .060. Also just tryin to figure it out before hand because i figure i will get the block in the next few weeks and the stroker kit i believe feb of next year or whenever the school refunds come out but until then i want him to go ahead and do all the work to the block thatneeds to be done beforei get the stroker

no its not okay, fire the guy that told you that
i wouldn't push any more than .040 over for strip and no more than .030 over for daily even if it is a high nickel mexican.
.060 is guaranteed to give you reliability problems, its enevitable, just a matter of time
