Well I can tell you I just went through the hassle of doing my T-5 to the gills with Astro performance stuff. all in allI dropped 2500-2600 on the trans for gears 1,2,3,4,5 a rebuild kit, mainshaft, blowproof bell and clutch fork. Also if you do deal with them Tony is the only person I would talk to, when youcan get ahold of them. They seem to be out of the office alot and if they say they are going to call ya backdon't hold your breath. Also shipping is a little iffy so if you need something right away try and get it somewhere else. If you got tons of time from order to on the road then it doesn't matter. I am sure ordering the fully built T-5 from astro would be easier then what I did. Also if you do order the tail shaft from them out of their current stock be ready to sand your 5th gear so the C clip fits in the groove. G-Force seems to have cut the groove about a hundreth of an inch to far back on the shaft and they have 3 or 4 of the shafts left.
You can geta TKO 900 from MMR performance for less then doing the T-5 yourself and they are tougher. If I had done my research a little better I would have went with the TKO 600 or 900 from MMRand made the mods to make the thing fit.

yeah that's my newest dilemma. i dont wanna go auto, but that sort of seems like the only option. i guess i'll start looking into tko 600's. man that's gonna put a big halt into my wanting to get back on the road soon plans. what else is needed to run the 600 in a 90 coupe? like is there anything else i need to change or does it just bolt right up? thanks
