351 EFI MPG?

RE: 351 EFI MPG?
You are correct. Only cobra R 5.8 intakes are on the cobra R's. You can get a EFI truck 351 intake and run a cobra or gt-40 upper. I would recommend getting a edlebrock, trick flow or professional products 351 EFI intake.

A wise man once told me "If you have to ask, you can't afford it"
But..... it will vary from car to car. Driving style, gears, mods, where you drive, weigh of the car. I will let you know in the spring, but i dont plan to get anymore than 10-12 mpg MAX!!!!!!!!!!! But then again i will have a carb setup.

I would think that a 351W fox driver wouldn't care about mileage, mainly performance. When my 351C mustang is done, I'm sure the mileage will completely suck, that is not why I'm building it.

I don't care that much about the mpg. I want a 351W for the cubes and the capabilities. That was just out of curiousity. I'd like to find a roller motor and get some Gt40P's worked up for it. Just a really decent Cobra R 5.8 clone engine making close to 350hp at the wheels with gobs of tq for donuts!!!.
I was looking into the 5.8 Cobra R intakes, and they are just re-badged 5.0 Cobra intakes with a "GT-40" style lower off a 93-95 Lightning.

Guess it depends on your setup. One of my friends is pushing 550hp with his & is getting like 8mpg. I know of another guy pushing a little over 800hp & getting in the 20's mpg.
