1. yes it will fit

2. yes the C6 will fit

D. dont care what anyone says, the M motors have potential to make more power than any W platform (they are basically Cleveland motors anyways)

It can be done but, the expense will be more than buying a rebuilt Windsor. Headers and oil pan will have to be custom made. No one makes them for that swap. A C6 will fit. Headers usually run about $700 and the oil pan wil be atleast $400. You also can't use the early (67)73) mustang headers for the swap. They won't even be close to fitting. Truck headers won't fit either. This is why you see so few people swapping 351C's in them. In the mid 80's a company did offer the swap but, even then the kit was over $1000. It hasn't been available since around 89-90 and are pretty much impossible to find.

i recommend manifolds, you could port them a bit if you like, but really for a stock to mild 351M your not going to gain all that much by swapping to headers anyways as long as you have a quality dual exhaust setup

They won't make near the power a healthy windsor will. The M heads aren't near as good as a good cleveland head. For the money spent you will be lucky to get half the power. You will get torque but, thats the reason they were truck motors or in big cars. There is very little aftermarket for them. Also, the exhaust manifolds won't work in a Fox body. The angle causes issues with the steering shaft and the firewall. Tried it before with 70 model Cleveland manifolds. They have the weaknesses of the Cleveland without the performance of one. They do make good boat and truck motors but, they don't make good performance motors.

yea ive been doin some sufferin on the net lookin for other folks who have been doin this...but its kinda been 50/50..some says its an ok project to do..and some say its not lol..but im just gonna try to work with i got for now

so my next question is that.....im assumin ill need a differnt driveshaft (am i right)? lol..and im mos def swaping the rear end with an 8.8..but i was wondering wat would be good gears to use with the 351m (slighty mod'd)/c6 tranny? cuz i know it has a lot of torque so im thinkin maybe if its geared right maybe itd make it run a lil better?

The C6 will make it harder to find headers due to the bellhousing. With gears, I would start with 3.55 to a 3.73. Don't go much lower due to RPM's. Cleveland and M motors have an oiling issue at high rpm's. They need oiling restrictors. SVO blocks corrected this issue.
