i just re-read that. it does look like he destroked it. sounds like the guy is going for at least 8k rpms. sounds awesome[sm=badbadbad.gif]

Alot of people that run in classes where cid is limited will destroke an engine. The only problem with it is that your power bandis usually in the 7-9k rpm range. Good for racing as long as you have a hell of a stall. People might run them with manual's, idk.

So what are the common "destroke" set ups...how do the stroke and rod lengths change? does the much lower compression allow for more hp on non-dart blocks.
