Got a new 351w block (stoked)
So I just picked up my new block. Its standard 351 bore its been hot dipped, all new brass freeze plugs and new cam bearings. I only paid $250.00. In hawaii windsors are hard to come by and theres only one good machine shop here and they are super expensive. The machining that has been done already probably cost $12-1300, so I stole this block.
Any way Im so a.d.d. i cant decide what to do with the compression. Tell me what to do haha. I want to keep the car very streetatable. I am going to be keeping the EFI and using a piggy back computer tuning system for multiple settings. I cant decide wether to bump the compression up and keep it N/A or prep it for a turbo set up. I would like the HP to be somewhere between 4-500.
Also what internals to go with. There is not a budget but keep in mind my wife has to approve all purchases. I have been looking at summits site and i am leaning towards the scat forged and balanced 351w rotating assembley. There is just so much to choose from is scat pretty good.
Also ive been getting mixed reviews on the trick flow head intake cam kits. Im thinking about getting it and disc arding the cam and getting something just a little more aggresive. Really cant beat the price.
All I have is the block and i cant decide where to go from here. there is just to much to choose from. Please help.

what kind of machine work was done to a block with a stock bore to equal $1300 bucks? no offense but i have a very good machinist here, and i have that much into a full race preped block, with all the tricks included, as well as a full balance of the rotating assembly

Yeah slopony but your not in hawaii. Its the price we pay to live in the most beautifull state in the union. I also probably had to pay twice as much for my fox here as you would have to pay for the same car there, no matter where you are in the continental united states. I also cant get allot of people to ship to hawaii and the people that do charge way more because its by air unless I want to wait 8-12 weeks. Sorry to rant but I wish I could get my block race prepped and balanced with all the goodys for 1300 bucks. **** if i was paying those kind of prices the car would be built already.
Go ahead and ask me what I pay to have a "good" mechanic work on my car here. Sorry but i took offense.

no prob, didnt mean tot fire you up, i understand the shipping stuff, and mech here are from 90~110 and hour, higher being the dealer, lower being the shops i would go to, any thing less and its costing more in the long run around here
