I like the 408ci. Forged.

Very streetable if that's the way you want to stay, very good torque production, blower friendly, it loves NOs, and it has become very popular, there are a lot of people running them and parts are readily available.

Just my opinion, but I have stuck with the 408 for almost 20 years when I built my first one you had to use chevy rods[8D]

Ya won't regret it

It is in my humble opinion, the safer of the 351 strokers due to the rod angle issues associated with strokers.

It is just a motor I have done well with and if it ain't broke...ya know?

haha, Im trying, I already have my intake, fuel rails, oil pan, distributor, flywheel and harmonic balancer...

just saving for rotating assembly and heads

Nice, I need heads, Intake, pushrods, oil pan, balancer,oh and the cam and lifters. I am now thinking of BOOST too!

BIG compression, no boost 408 here. I have Scat crank, Eagle H-beam rods and custom JE pistons (15.5:1 compresion).
