RE: 5.0 fuelie on a 351 w
Everything except the lower intake and MAYBE the fuel rails. They may not be wide enought to compensate with the extra width of a 351. The stock computer can also support a mild 351 but if you get too radical you will want to get it tuned. You will have to get a lower intake from a truck or just order a lower for the 351 from summit

RE: 5.0 fuelie on a 351 w
I am not aware of ANY stock Ford 351w lower that will bolt to the 5.0 stock upper manifold.
Is that what you are suggesting?
The GT40 stuff would be the only possible exception...
The rubber on the stock 5.0 fuel rails can be cut out and replaced with high pressure fuel line from the parts store. If done right, it will hold up VERY well.
There is some other junk to consider as well...

good luck,

Yes, the GT40 lower is the intake I am talking about. It will bolt up to a GT40 upper, a Cobra intake, or any other upper that uses that lower intake. And yea it wouldn't take much at all to modify the rails or just buy an aftermarket set. You won't have to modify the rubber line itself, just the rails. They will have to be cut in half to split between left and right and a hose added. Make sure you throw a flare on the ends before you put on the hose and it will be a tighter seal when the clamp is put on.

It needs to be removed and replaced... end of story.. you do NOT modify the rails in ANY wau

My bad, the last time I looked at a fuel rail I don't remember seeing a rubber line in between the rails. It was solid. I don't have an EFI setup on my car and havn't worked on one in awhile.
