Bigger budget I would stay fuel injected. Have the ecu flashed and chipped. Then take it to a dyno shop and have them tune it . Carb is easier but FI would make more power having it tuned.

Fuel Injection will not make more power.

Go with a carb. It doesn't really matter in the power department, but for simplicity and cost savings it's really the best way to go. Also, they look awesome.

hind-sight is 20/20... I bought...TFS R intake,30lb injectors & MAF, 75 throttle body, a9l, and AFM PMS series 2, add it up and that will spell GO CARB!! I wish I woulda from the get go. There is not much power difference from what i have been told by some friends that swapped to card, but they all swear that throttle responce is WAY better.

They make a supercharger carb so I could run a Vortech if I wanted right?

Yep you can sc a carb set up. You just have to order a carb hat and the piping to run to the hat thats all. I dunno if that stuff is included in the kit though, I've never looked at throwing a blower on my 351.

from what im hearing....you dont have a lot of power now.
if you have to ask about supercharging a 408.
just try and stay on track and get the 408 built right first, plenty of power...plenty
search around
good luck
