Default 351 to 427?

someone told me you could bore a 351 out to a 427 and it seemed like a pretty steep bore but i didnt question it too much. but while i was looking through all the posts the highest i saw was 408. so the whole point of my rambling is that i want to know can you punch a 351 out to a 427?

Its not a matter of the bore size, you need a crank, rod and piston to achieve 427 inches in a windsor block

( not positive on this) but i think the further you stroke the motor the shorter it will run.... Of course you also have to take into consideration the quality of parts, how you break it in, and how you treat it while driving
