Unhappy help with planning the swap

Let me start off by saying that I have searched thru this forum with no luck finding the answers that I am looking for. I have an '87 Crown Vic with a carb. 351W in it from the factory that I am trying to sell with no luck. So I had the evil thought of yanking that motor out and dropping it into the stang (1987 LX with the 5.0 currently in it). I have been reading on different forums and everyone talks about doing the swap with retaining the efi, well obvisouly my vic does not have that and I would like to keep the 351 carbed. Also I know I would need different headers, or will the stock ones on the windsor work? Other then that and the fact the electric fuel pump would have to go, or at the very least a pressure regulator, what else should I prepare for if I were to go thru with this? Thanks for any and all help.

you need an oil pan , throttle cable from a 79 - 85 mustang with a v8 , 351 specific headers ( if you get shorties then you can use any mustang h pipe and cat back ) depending on your accessories you'll need 351 specific brackets to make sure everything bolts up right.

the oil pan from the crown vic will work wont it? It is a double hump to clear the cross member. I am only going to be running p/s, water pump, and alt. which are all already installed on the 351 so them will stay the same right? Basiclly what I am wanting to do is ****** the motor out of the crown vic and drop it in the stang and keep the 351 carbed. So the manifolds on the 351 wont work either? If I am understanding this correctly from what I have read here and elsewhere I am going to need to get a throttle cable from an earlier stang and shorty headers right?
