Default 12.0's on motor??

alright guys i've got a 88 hatch with a world class. i have a windsor im putting in it, and was wondering about some proven 12.0 combos with the windsor?? i have had many foxes but this is my first windsor build. any input? thanks guys

toooo heavy , you just added at least another 100 pounds by just dropping the 351 into it. but if it were me and if your going carb. i would get a 408 stroker by fordstrokers.com a 750 holley, afr or trickflow 205cc heads.....but again i dont know what you mean by a 12 second motor, street or drag?but again like you said a 12 second motor, i was in your situation but i my put ego aside and decieded togo 347 more weight/horsepower ratio.

a stock 351 with decent heads ,cam and intake will go in the high 11's with no problem seen it too many times..

351 built right can easily do low 12's

Friend of mine had a 351 with a set of old home ported Iron TFS High Ports a Victor JR. intake and a mild solid roller cam with 9.5 comp. and a 3500 stall with 4.11 in a heavy street mustang on drag radials it went 11.60 all day long.

so do have a complete motor now or lookin for info to build one?


a buddy of mine has a 351 bored 30 over ,stock d00e heads ported with a solid roller,vic jr,longtubes,c6 and it ran 8 flat in the eigth letting off and having problems with the tranny in a 68 fastback

so a few combos have been said and like said again it wont ake a whole lot to get to 12's on a 351w
