the car has little rust under the body and is in very nice shape.

This is in roseville right? I called the guy and asked him some ?'s about the car since my buddy is hard set on buying it. He didnt sound like he knew much about the car. He kept saying oh well this ... Hot rod shop built this and that and i told them to just get the best racing parts they could get. We were going to go look at it sunday but it snowed so we didnt go since there couldnt be a test drive

One thing for sure is you couldn't built it for that. A few things stike me as kind of odd. If it has 33 spline Axles why is is still 4 lug? Why is there a 4X4 being used as a wheel Chock? Victor Sr heads? All that power, big axles and still has a T-5? Regardless of those issues it still looks like a decent buy from the photos. I'd love to see photos of the underside of the car. That really uncovers a lot about one of these builds. It looks really nice and the build looks neat. I'd say it really worth going to look at.

Portmaster is right check it out cause you cant build on for that.

what do you think it would run at the track?

Well not knowing if the HP is flywheel HP or RWHP... I would guess that if you hook up good and you hit the gears on... somewhere in the mid 11's

are the sr heads bad? and he said he is putting 500+ hp and if the motor is bored .030 over does that make it a 408?

No it is not a 408. It would make it something like a 357 or something like that. It would be a 408 if it had a 4" crank and some 6.2" rods I think. Not real sure on 408 measurements
