Are these heads any good?

Can someone educate me on head choice? What does what and which gives you more power? Do they have anything to do with compression? It's all pretty confusing to me and I'd rather have someone explain it than look through tons of articles trying to educate myself.

Most people on here will tell you they are no good. I have a set on my car right now, the 190cc version. My car runs just fine with them. Runs in the 11's on engine alone. That's pretty decent for a street car. It is my understanding that a set of AFR or Trick Flow heads will make more power and torque than the Pro Comp heads do, but they are twice as much in cost. If it were me on a budget, I would try and get them bare and install my own valve train in them. When I ordered my heads, I had them upgrade a few things before shipment.

They are a China Copy of Edelbrocks Victor Jr. I'm not a fan of them but I know guys running them on the street without issue. I'd much rather have them than a set of ported GT40ps. They are proven to make power. Just how long? Well the jury is still out on that one. If I was building a Cheap bracket car I'd have no problem running them on a budget built race engine.
