Default Stock 94+ 351w Specs

Does anyone know what the specs are with the heads and cam on a stock 94+ 351w? As in valve size, compression ratio, chamber volume, runner cfm's, cam lift, duration, LSA, ect.

I have been thinking of doing my 351 swap when I get back from Iraq instead of putting anymore money into my 306. I have a old truck motor back in indiana but I figured if I can get a decently newer block that I will just put all new gaskets in it would be cheaper. I am not sure what year the motor back home is so I don't know if it has the c9 or d0 heads.

Thanks guys

i think the F4TE engines are like 240hp 330ish tq and around 9.0:1 CR. E7 heads most likely and the cam is probably a little more punchy down low than the mustangs stock cam.
go for a set of flat top pistons (like <$200 from Summit) and some cheap aluminum heads like AFR 185's or even Patriots. thatll be around 10.3:1 CR. go with a big(ger) COMP hyd roller like an XE282HR or one of the XFI stroker cams and take your choice of staying EFI or going carb. if you want stock heads, port out a set of D0 heads.
take out and enjoy as necessary lol ;-)

If they are e7's I will prolly just slap on my gt40s I have on the 306 right now. I have to get ahold of my brother to see if he can tell me what year the motor I have back home is. I am trying to make the swap as cheap as possible. If I really wanted to I could adjust my spending and drop it in no problem but I have to get my 5 speed setup and some suspension work.

Anyone else have any more specifics?

If you have a C9 or D0 block and heads at home run them!

I have a 69 351W on the stand going to 396.Got a cheap stroker kit from SPEEDWAY and plan to use either patriot or i belive pro comps on it.I have a buddy at lincoln tech in indy that will port them for me.He did my DOOE's and theyre insane!

That speedway kit is only 700 bucks and gives you KB pistons,I beam rods, and a cast crank with all the bearrings.Very cheap but effective way to go IMO.

The later blocks were no where near as tough as the earlier stuff.69 is supposed to be the toughest W block made.
