I got a 351 w with 4 bar eddy intake out of a 73 thunderbird it needs to be freshened up but i dont know what to do with it and kind of a tight budget i was thinking about doing heads cam and carb any suggestions and what i could possibly get for hp out of it

depends on how wild you get, id expect a good solid 350-400 hp with a good tune with the hci combo. itll have massive torque! your gonna have traction issues. good luck

ill bet you i wouldnt have traction issues thats the first upgrade i ever do i might put it in my 95 i dunno if its worth it or not any ideas on a h/c/i setup for this

You should make some good power with it. My setup in my signature put down 315 horse and 356 FtLbs on a Land/Sea Inertia Dyno. Should put down mid 3's for HP on a Dynojet. I have NO traction with 265 BFG Street tires in first or second, sometimes going into third if I hit the gear hard and fast enough. You said limited budget, last time I checked HCI combo wasn't too limited. Espeically if the motor needs a rebuild. But as stated above, how extreme do you wanna get?

the motor needs to be freshened up but id like to spend about 1500 if possible looking for a good cam and carb and heads want to get into the 12's is my goal
