Default Might buy a mustang with a 351 swapped in

Hello,

i haven't been on this forum in a loong time. The last time i was here i was going to buy a 5.0 liter but things happned and long story short i ended up with a 1990 240sx, which i subasaquently turbocharged and grenaded. anyways, i have some mechanical knowledge from owning this car and with a bit of cash in the bank i think i finally want to buy a mustang. i stumbled along this one (link below), its not local but i can get a ferry from where i live to look at it. It already has a rebuilt 351 winsor in it.....

what do you think of the $4,500 ono price tag?The body looks okay, not great. Should it be cheaper based on this?

how much power is a fairly stock 351 tipically going to make?

Anything i should be werry of when looking at this car? besides the fact that the interior has to go. that is some ugly red **** lol.

looks like the body is is decent condition for an 82. he doesnt have any pics of the engine...kind of upsetting. def look for rust...get underneath and check it out...ask him what kind of service hes had to it...whether he built it and stuff....a stock 351 depends on the year but they make around 210hp and 305 ft lbs i think...the newer hydraulic roller cam blocks make a little more torque

In my experience Mustangs are more expensive in Canada, but I dont think that its worth the 4500 he his asking. 1500-2000 is what i think.
