Default Choosing the right Alternator...

I am almost getting ready to finish the build a couple of odds and ends that I need to take care of, but I have a questions for you guys...If I bought a EFI 5.0 alternator, how do you make it work with my carb, MSD ignition box. Any tips would be appreciated....

Also I dropped the motor yesterday...Looks kind of dusty cause it is. I thought I was going to have issues with my steering shaft not clearing the MAC LT cause their Rep said that....But I was fortunate I guess, because everything was pretty straight forward.

I used a single wire alternator. It has the exciter built in to so when the car revs to 1000 rpm the alternator starts working. You just need to run a single wire to your solenoid or battery to charge, easy!
