Best Place to buy a Crate 351W

Has anyone dealt with or know of someone that has bought a crate 351W from any place online? Looking to buy one from somewhere but not sure where. They all look to be similar in price. Just wondering if one site is recommended over another. Thanks!

Unfortunatly, there are some unscrupulous companies out there - like T&L. Trying to find a good one can be tough.

Keith Craft probably has the best repuation. Right behind them is Southern Engines. Roush has a decent product, but it's priced as a premium product. Probe makes a good product. But their customer service can be a little spotty. Don't forget about Ford; you can get a good engine with a warrenty directly from your local Ford dealer.

If you like to do the assembly yourself (like I do), look at Performance Automotive Warehouse.

If you're planning on racing or heavy duty use, then you might want something a little better than a standard crate motor. I would recommend Mike Forte at FortesParts.com to build you exactly what you want.

Keith Kraft is good, Bennett racing, and the Ford racing crate motors are all good. The FRPP is great with the warranty but, the parts they use are as good as the rest. they won't make the power you get from the other guys. Keith Kraft and Bennett both stand by their work. It depends on what you want ot. There are tons of options. Just decide on what power level you want to be at and start pricing the upgrades.
