Default 351w non-roller vs 302 roller..

Hey guys, decided to not build my 4.6L and im now really leaning towards building a 351w i have. It was out of a 1991 pickup. Im looking to get a mild 300-350 hp out of it. Is this really feasible with basic stock replacement internals, decent cam and stock heads?

oorrrr

would it be better to build the 5.0 already in my 95 gt..

Both pushrod motors are complete (5.0 still in the car) What are your guys' experiences with these? I've heard rumors or putting 351 heads on 302's but hell idk haha. lets see what you guys have to say.

A 302 with good heads, intake and a custom cam on stock internals can make that power easily.

Putting 351 heads on a 302 usually result in a slug! most of them are identical exept the combustion chamber being larger on the 351 head thus dropping c/r horribly!

302 good topend and there you go!
