Well I went super Vic and a 1050cfm pro system carb and trust me I made zero adjustments other than idle
I did the injected and tweecer/pms tuning thing a few years ago but it gets expensive

90mm TFS R series or BOX-R manifold

look on 50resto.com

might look into a carb manifold drilled for the injectors with a 90* elbow and a 90mm TB too

I am taking the motor to the machine shop this week how much does the block need to be bored over for the 408 and also are afr heads basically my only choice or are there other heads that match up in performance

can some of you guys that have done the 408 build list the parts you used, how much the project cost, and what kind of hp your getting

am i limited to just using all forged internals. i was looking at the egale kits and there kit with i beam rods and cast crank is good for over 600 hp. i dont plan on having more than that. or do i have to go with forged crank and h beam rods. the only reason im asking is there is a $700 difference and i would like to use that money for other parts.

theyll be cheaper than getting your block machined and getting a separate rotating mass BTW...
