Default 351 Windsor swap

I have a 92 gt that I want to swap a 351W into. The motor is out of an 85 f250. I was wondering what I would need to do this. I bought the car as a rolling chassis and I want to go with a manual setup. Also I'd like to work the motor. Give it some decent power and still keep it street worthy and be able to go to the strip with it. Any suggestions?

How much for the engine? I ask because there is no need to spend crazy money for a block...since you're not gonna be using the heads, intake, rotating assembly, etc. WHat are your goals?

I got the engine for free. My brother gave it to me since he was going to use it to put in his 66 mustang but he came across a 351 Cleveland. I'd like to get between 400 and 500 hp out of the motor. But I want to keep it street legal and run on pump gas. A nice driver but will still run good at the strip.

Street legal is no fun haha. If you truly want it to be street legal, you'll have to run all the cats on the exhaust and the egr bulls**t. If you're wanting to keep it n/a, the best way to get power is stroking/boring that. I would suggest anything from a 383-408ci. That should run somewhere around 10-10.5 compression, which is fine for pump gas. With a nice head/cam/intake combo, that should put you somewhere around the 450rwhp range.
