Talking 408 heart transplant

Champion performance starting my 408 build..iron eagle block , callies crank , oliver rods, arp bolts , diamond pistons .afr 225 heads , etc... estimates around 540 hp ..should keep me happy till I can save more money for the turbo set-up.Feel like a little kid on X-mas. I have not done any mods since last year , the wait was killing me. lol just thought i would share.

I wasn't talking about his block. I can read. That's why I mentioned my block.

what kind of block do you have? stock 302 block you are on borrowed time...as Venomantidote95 says an older 351 block could take it n.a.

Well 2yrs so far borrowed time LMAO!!!! A good 351w block with the thick main webbing can take quite a bit of abuse before you have any problems from them! I know where a 432 is right now running 4+ years with a 300shot every weekend!

IE: 69-late 71 blocks people on here talk about the metal content ignorantly its the main web thickness that is the game changer not the metal, the newer 351w blocks have thin main webbing like the 302 blocks, the older one main webbing are about 3/4in thick where the newer are only about 3/8in thick if you need proof i can post pics!

As far as block yes stock .030 347 5.4 rod with main support, sorry you musta had bad experience with one before there are tricks to get a stock block to last but hey what do i know!!!!!!

I know guys running stock 302 blocks in their late models turning 8500-9000rpm all night long! Thanks for your concern though.............

My latest and greatest for my little white v6 will be a 71w block 421 or 432 waiting until i make the order to deciede on the rotating assembly yes it will be using a .060 bore also.
