Default 2.3 Wiring Help

I recently bought a 92 vert for a grand. Its a transplant car with a 351w and a T5. Whoever did the work on this car was blind, did it in the dark and and two broken hands. When i drove it home, 68mph felt like the car was gonna disintegrate so im in the process of bringing it back to life. The wiring was done by 2 4 year olds with blind folds on i think. So, to my question... I need to eliminate unneccessary wires, so if anyone can help me with what can stay and go as far as the wires coming off the pcm(if that is the one next to the blower motor box) with the 60 pin connector? I'm looking at the digram and dont see much that needs to stay. here's a good blown up diagram http://www.my5oh.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=2194.

assuming they used a carbed engine for the transplant, but when I did my 95 v6 swapped in a carbed 68 302 I pulled every thing electronic out. It all depends on how they did the swap. If they left the fuel pump in the tank and just put a low pressure regulator on it, or if they went to a mechanical pump on the engine. If they used the electronic pump in the tank you need the pcm to turn on the pump unless its wired direct to the ignition. Basically with a carbed engine key on = 12v to the coil and dizzy , giving spark and the rest is compression and fuel . The only thing that didn't work on my 95 was the tach in the dash cluster, but I used aftermarket any ways.
