I have a Pypes x-pipe, GT (auto) take-offs, and the very affordable mid-pipe from Rockauto. I haven't had it installed yet. There is a performance shop about 2 miles from my home here in Newport News, VA. They are called Rocket Performance. I am going to have them do the install in the next few weeks. I will post a video once I have it installed. This shop also does their own tunes.....I plan to soon purchase a FRRP CAI tuner combo from them soon as well.

Yeah...that rockauto seems very reasonable. if you don't mind...let me know what your local shop charges for the install.

I will be installing it myself. using exhaust band clamps.

anyone have any experience with this? this picture shows 2.25" clamps toward the engine (manifold pipes) and 2.5" the rest of the way. is this what i will need after cutting the y off? from the pics it looks as though the x pipe will slip into the manifold pipes (which seems backward to me), then the the mid pipe will slip into the x pipe (which also seems backward to me) shouldnt the flow of exhaust go with the pipes instead of hitting the slip joint head on?

so based off the pic the manifold pipes OD is 2.25? and the mid pipe OD would be 2.25 also.

I may have to wait and see when i receive the parts. from what it appears to me this is a 2.25" stock system not 2.5" is this true.

I did the install this weekend. It was a lot of work but worth it. I clamped everything but wanted it welded to I took it up to a muffler shop today and they welded the 4 joints for me for $25 total, took them a half hour tops.

Still need to smooth the bumper cut out a bit but looks pretty good right now. I like it a lot. My wife says its too loud so I must have done good!!

x pipe, slides ontop of the pipes coming fron the cats, and over the mid pipes.

sorry its so dirty this salt really sucks....then we got 10 inches of snow today to put the snow tires to good use.
