H-pipe worked out

H-pipe worked out
Had the H-pipe installed and the sound is way better than the "high pitched "rattle" at higher rpms.
The sound is more mellower and less annoying. The chrome tips look way cool too!! FYI

RE: H-pipe worked out
I'm considering getting the same exhaust set-up you have. H-pipe with dual flowmasters. I want a deep throaty sound and I think this is the best way to get it. My question is: is the difference in sound between dual GT take-off mufflers vs. the flowmasters worth the extra cash? I've listened to soundclips of flowmasters and GT's but it's hard to appreciate the true difference between the two without physically being there to hear it.

Its an all weld job. Came out good I watched the guy do it.
Sounds way smoother and not raspy when you rev it.
I think Flowmasters are worth the extra cash; they're not that much more really. And when its done you'll be grinning down the highway for years to come!!

RE: H-pipe worked out
My guy charged me $80 to weld the H pipe in there. Took him about 2 hours, a bit less. I had straight throughs before. The $80 included chrome tips too! Looks cool and sounds mellower yet deep and rich. I heard Y pipe set ups make the car high pitched (ricers!! yuck) so I went with the H. Everyone says best choice. I do notice a difference.
