Hello all,

I have a 06 GT with the Auto trans. I want to get this B & M Shifter but have a question. Is there a OD on off switch or button? Also, has anyone compared this to the TCI shifter?

The TCI looks a lot better IMO.

A "T" handle was mentioned for the B&M but I've never seen it.

I really don't like the straight shaft... looks like it belongs in an 82 Trans Am.

But you can probably bet on the B&M reliablity.

Always was a quality product in the old days.

I talked to TCI today, and they told me that the ratchet is only one way, 1,2,3,D it dont ratchet back D,3,2,1 and its $460, from what I have read here, the B&M ratchets both ways, I like playing around on the road, not so much just forward like drag racing so I want it to ratchet both ways, The TCI is much better lokking, but the B&M seems to have the performence.

Can you confirm the up & down step at a time shift, because I think this is just what I'm looking for.

Can anyone tell me what this solenoid is that seems to be baffling B&M, I'm going to try and retrofit a Mega shifter to my car, I like it better then either of the ones that TCI & B&M are threatening to bring out, I don't have much faith in either of them , after talking to them both, they should have this thing out 2 years ago.
