There are some chips(not sure if for our cars) you can tune the chip with a computer link but thats not the same as tuning your car with a computer i suppose

Are tuners connected to the OBD II connector? There are actually software programs that are available on the net for free on accessing the cars chips. After tuning the vehicle, do you unplug the tuner or does it have to stay?

Dude, what do you think tuners are made of? Tuners are just simplified computers as far as I know. It's like a cheap version of a PDA with only one purpose.

How much do you know about maf curve adjustments, tranny shift pressure and spark advance? You really don't want to mess with the computer on these cars unless you know what you are doing.
