Are those Vortech numbers real??

Default Are those Vortech numbers real??

Says a stock car has 254 lbs. of Trq.
but more to the point are those increases realistic?? will it be anywhere near those 330s???

keep in mind that's hp at the flywheel, not whp.

more like 280whp i'd guess, or 10 more than the stock gt.

I guess another question is, is it worth it???? Over$4000..+ switching to premium gas. for that you gould get a GT stay on 87 octane, and have more or less the same power....

if u can afford GT insurance and the gas mileage...which is like 2 mpg different. Then get a GT and you'll have exactly that.

thats still $1000 cheaper then the sticker of a new GT, also 13 second V-6 > 13 second GT which would you rather see?

still the switch to premium gas at thiese prices is the thing that makes me think about this. and I drive alot...oh well....

Get what you want. The GT is a solid choice, fate had it that when I went to buy one, it was not doable. As long as its a mustang, you are good to go!

After all this time i still prefer the procharger over the vortech. I wanna go turbo but i know i wont be able to do it myself so im not gonna get it o_O

Hamid recently reminded me that in stock configuration our 4.0L's put down a factory torque number of 240#. Not sure what reading you'd get on a chassis dyno.
