If you stick with only a tune, a really good tune will wake the car up on take offs, shifts (for you auto guys) and TQ. But for the top end, and giving the car that little bit of something at the track and breaking into the 14's, I think a CAI is needed. I remember a long time ago comparing dyno sheets between the two, and you can see the power curve not dropping off as much and as soon with a good CAI. I think it was Justins detailed write up I'm refering to.
Also, my vote is for the XCAL2. I had the predator, had a few problems with it:
1. Couldn't find a good tuner for it
2. Not enough tuning options for the auto
3. Still had throttle lag with it
4. Was running lean with the performance tune it came with
There are two forum members that had good tunes with the Diablo, but both went to a shop that specialized in the diablo. Do your reseach, go with what your local dyno shops support and good luck.
