Programer and CAI. Do i need a special tune.
Ok, I am ordering a programer and c&l cold air intake combo. I have the option to get the x cal tuner or the predator, which one should I get. Also do i need a special tune for my CAI, or do i just put the 93 octane tune on and it will be fine. Im new to the programers and mods. So let me know what i should do, and what i will need to do .
THANKS.

1. You want an SCT XCal II. Period.
2. Yes, you must tell your tuner what mods you have, and you will get tunes for those mods
3. If you always intend to run with the C&L, you can get 87, 89 and 93 octane (or 91 octane, whatever is available to you)
If you are not sure if you will always run with the CAI, get one tune without it.
I got 93 octane with NO CAI, and 87 and 93 octane WITH the CAI.

Sounds like your ordering from RPM Outlet. Like LX200 said -- SCT II. You can get a C&L/SCTII Kit from Evolution which costs about $565 shipped. They have a good rep. so that would be a good place to order it, not to mention its the cheapest place for the kit.
