It shouldn't affect it at all. My warrantee states that exhaust isn't even covered anyway. You can only void what is directly affected by the mod, so unless you put like 1CM pipe or something for your exhaust I don't see them caring.

You are correct... that is the law.... however.... some dealerships are staffed by a complete bunch of jerks and will try blaming EVERYTHING that happens on your dual exhaust! LOL! Luckily I have a very cool dealership!

scrming is right, if you want to do something like that you might want to go to the dealership and let them buy the stuff and install it for you.....because a dual exhaust is not something that you can easily put on them remove lol

If you can find a Ford Dealer that does Roush, Steeda or Saleen steeds that might be your best bet. They tend to be a bit more friendly to modificaitons like this. I found a dealer in my area that is mod friendly, but they are 1.25 hours away. LOL.

I believe the law says that they have to have proof that you are responsible though. Just saying that to them or possibly their manager should be enough. Just tell em they are gonna have to hire an expert to evaluate your car for proof the mods are warrantee voiding. They really don't have a choice.. most of the crap they pull is just scare tactics or ignorance. Hoping you'll just give up.

edit: of course warrantee wise nothing is better than doing it all through the dealership.
