Default SC vs. Turbo

I need some opinions here,

I've been thinking about a turbo/supercharger, and I was pretty sure I wanted the PH turbo.... but something changed.

I just found a website that offers the supercharger w/ intercooler they use in the Shelby CS-6. This is supposed to put out more HP than the PH turbo.

So, if youguys had to pick, what would it be?

Shelby CS-6 supercharger w/ intercooler, or PH turbo w/ intercooler?

turbo will probably give you a better time but people say that a supercharger is safer for th eengine. I really dont know if that is true or not because i have never had an f/i car that i kept more than like 80k miles. In either cas ei think youll be happy. If your not going to the track i think then it depends if you like a supercharger whine or a turbo whistle o_O

its not possible to make more power with a supercharger than with a turbo at the same psi and same tuning. so whatever site that is, is bs'ing you.

The site is http://www.hillbankmotorsports.com/i...sort=2a&page=2

its not just this site, its everything I've seen about the CS-6.
Its supposed to be at 350hp at 9lbs of boost. If I remember right Rygen is at 11 lbs and is at 340 something hp? not a big hp difference, but the CS-6 makes more power with less boost.. I think.. lol

*Edit: I just looked at rygen's post on his results after his latest round of mods, and hes only at 320 hp, so if the numbers are right on the CS-6 s/c it pumps out 30 more hp*

fazm thats partly right, but it depends more on cfm than psi. You can't make more power with a blower pushing the same CFM with the same tune. This is because a blower robs power to make power.

rygen is at i think 340 something at the wheels on a mustang dyno...? which is more like 400hp at the crank. actually more i think.

ya 320rwhp on a mustang dyno, which is over 350rwhp on a dynojet.
the cs6 "makes" (not proven) 350hp at the engine, which is about 310rwhp on a dynojet
