Default RE: throttle body spacer

a larger TB wont even do anything unless you get the intake ported to match, spacers do nothing

Default RE: throttle body spacer

I agree, I may be a newbie to the 05+ mustangs but do not waste your time on the spacer. when i got my 96 GT way back in the day, i went out and got all the low cost preformace mods i could get my hands on.....the 3.50 cent mass air chip (or also know as the radio shack resistor), as well as a spacer. I felt an increase, because i wanted to. No real world power. If you really want to get one, get it. but to see anything from it, get the CAI, bigger TB, and get your intake ported to match (i dont even know if that is a good idea on these intakes). then you might, might see 1 HP diffrence from the spacer. IMO save the 99 bucks and put it towards a exhaust, tuner, and CAI. Just my 2 cents.
