FlowMaster TRUE Duals on 4.0L's???

I've been doing some research and have seen several people on this website have TRUE DUAL Flowmasters...They sound awesome BTW! But I called flowmaster and they told me they don't make a TRUE DUAL system because they couldn't figure out how to stop the power loss!!! This is coming from Flowmaster! if you check there website they only sell single for the v6 stang...I've also seen TRUE DUAL MagnaFlows on here but they haven't even developed on for the V6 yet ...It's comong soon! according to the website...

How is this possible? [&:]

This is my first Stang BTW...F**King Love it!

Yeah you have to buy the GT American Thunder Kit. I actually want to do this but afraid of the drone. so ill probably slap some resonators on them. and yes they do sound awesome.

Yeah but...what about the "power loss" Flowmaster is talking about??? They wont even touch the v6 with a True Dual because of it??? I'm just afraid of getting an awesome sounding TURD!

then make it easy on yourself and get an awsome sounding beast
buy an Mrt and headers and leave the exhaust alone
Ok so duals look sweet (yay we look like a gt now) i dont get it
sound and performance for our car comes in the single
Rygen sais it best "hindsight 20/20 i would have stayed with the single"

as far as power loss, you really dont gain that much from mufflers to begin with. The only exhaust i have heard of getting a pretty good gain is the MRT muffler. But as for having a power loss with American thunders i have heard a couple things about them. I heard that people do feel the power loss and some people say they dont and they flow really good. If you want performance go with MRT if you want sound i say go with flowmasters. The only reason i am going with the flowmasters is because i have a tune and CAI so i can spare a couple ponies.

I have true dual flowmasters on mine. No drone, sounds great. and i pulled off a 14.50 @ 93mph at the track a couple weeks ago.

so i dont know what the powerloss is that they speak of.

by the way, i had jba headers and the MRT single axleback, and the drone at 2500rpm was absoluately unbelievable.

fazm, do you still have your Jba's on? how does it sound with the headers and the duals? i was thinking of going this route but someone in this forum said that their dual system with jba headers (Not AT mufflers though) sounded like crap. so i just dont want them to sound like crap. do you have a clip fazm?

RE: FlowMaster TRUE Duals on 4.0L's???

Rygen said that??? he said looking back he should have stuck with the single?? DUDE, his exhaust sounded the best on the sound clip thread!!! I'm stuck! I totally dig duals but don't want fake ones, I dig the sound and the look but if it's going to make me slower than stock forget it! I thought any improvement over stock would be just that, an improvement! I'll have to talk to rygen about this whole deal...
