He has the MRT.

Your wife will hate everything but stock. I have Magnaflow and it doesn't really quiet down until 85 mph.
I have the GT take-off. It's definitely better sounding than stock, and is good for an add'l 8rwhp (they are cheap too [sm=smiley20.gif]). Mrs. 28hopup likes the sound of the car better now, even with the top down. It's more throaty, but not obnoxious. I forget what muffler fitbikeco is running, but his is louder and raspier than mine (I like it, but IMO I probably wouldn't on a vert the top down). Hope that helps...

Thanks for all of the advise. I bought GT take-offs from Diversified... installed it yesterday. Wasn't that hard... but had a little trouble lining it up properly with the bumper. Initially it was touching.. so I added a few washers to the back hangers and it seem fine now.
At first I really didn't notice a big difference in sound.. but was driving it around today with the windows down.. and I have to say that this is perfect. Exactly what I was looking for.
Thanks for the help...
Now that I have the driver's side exhaust too... maybe a GT rear bumper and an H pipe is in my future...

I'll vouch for that! My duals and H sound awesome. A nice low rumble.

lol damn a MRT is pretty loud but I mean..it's not insane. I'm running no muffler at all with just the mid-pipe to a 45 degree adapter, to a magnaflow bullet tip with a custom hanger and it's pretty loud but damn...haven't you guys ever driven muscle cars lol? my camaro with mufflers and cats is louder than my mustang with no muffler!

IF your looking to be at gt sound level the mrt may be a little too much. The gt take offs are nice i had single then duals now im running magna flows but the gt takeoffs sound clean and its a littler louder than a gt at normal driving of course the v8 is louder at wot but what can you do o_O
