Default Question about Dual Flowmaster 40's

I'm thinking about getting a true dual set-up with flowmaster 40's. I got a quote from a shop to do the whole thing with an H-pipe but no pipe coming out of the back for 300. Does this sound like a good deal? Or should I wait and try to do a Flowmaster american thunder kit on GT pipes...

Any help would be apperciated!

Thanks guys

I don't know what you mean by " no pipe coming out" but the price seems about right for 2 Flows and an H-pipe with labor.

I mean the pipes will stop in the middle of the car, no exhaust tips coming out of the back.

Since the 2005 - 2007 Mustang mufflers are at the back of the car, what exactly is this shop planning to do? Older Mustangs had mufflers in the middle, but today I don't see how they can have the exhaust stop in the middle of the car.

well I'm going to take it in to the guy on friday hopefully. If it cant fit then I just have to go another road...

One thing that I am worried about is the drone from the flowmaster 40's. Is this a big problem or can resonators fix that no problem?

Three types of 40 series-standard, super, and delta. I have the standard aka Am Thunder. The way these are designed is that they will resonate as follows "will generally resonate inside the vehicle around 1800-2000 rpm’s, and again at 2400-2600 rpm’s. " It all depends on what you want. Don't think it's a problem, but that's subjective. For me it was a mind trip listening to how loud they are. I got mine done and then had to drive down the freeway about 25 miles or so and it was pretty darn loud. Now I'm liking the sound a lot. It does change over time, getting lower, tougher sounding. I regularly set off car alarms at a whim if I want to without doing a whole heck of a lot.

I have these :

And this is for all of their mufflers:

I don't know for sure but the OEM says that the supers have less interior resonance, and the deltas have less as well....all I know!
