Default Dual Exhaust Trouble

Ok so i got the other side GT exhaust fabbed like 2 weeks ago. Thought everything was ok but now witht he exception of the left tip still being crooked i took it into the shop because the engine light came on and wont shut off. They told me that since i did the duals that the o2 sensor doesnt know what to do making the engine light come on. Also they said nothing to actually worry about i dont get it. Is there anything i can do about it? I think i read somewhere that you can get like some MIL Eliminators or whatever to fix but.

Any tips/suggestions?

i think your dealership can clear it if you want to do that...they may try to **** your warranty, but there really isn't anything they can say to do that, so argue it if they say anything about it. im not sure if there is an easier way than getting a tuner besides going to your dealer, but somebody else might...

Oh! No. This is the first time I hear engine light is on after installing dual exhausts. I had my dual installed 4 days ago and engine light is not on yet. Please post when you have more information. About left muffler tip pointed to center, you take the muffler off , then bend the 2 hangers ( the two rods that are welded to the muffler ) to make it straight. I did it BEFORE I took the car to muffer shop. This method may be not work to you because your left pipe can't be aligned now unless they cut the left pipe, bend the hangers to align the tip and re-weld.

consult the manual
disconnect battery leave for 10 min or so
reconnect
drive
this will make the car relearn all the stuff it needs to know with the new mods
or just buy a tuner and clear all the codes

Ok 1st of all the way they did it the muffler is clamped onto the pipe not welded because i didnt want it welded so thats not a problem to bend the hangers. 2nd i have an SCT II so how do i clear the code with it?

Also did anyone have the problem where after they did duals when you stop and hold the brake (i.e. at a stoplight) that the engine or somewhere makes weird vibration sounds and you can feel it through the brake pedal?
