In my research I heard both good and a few bad things about the RP syncromax so I went with Pennzoil synchromesh which was a fraction of the cost as well.

I drive stick shifts as long as I'm driving but never had such a non smooth tranny as the T5. I changed the fluid to synchromax and it made a huge difference.
The tranny is real smooth exept going back from third to second is still a bit harch but It's getting better each time I drive it and it also depents on how much revs the engine makes.
