Default Auto to Manual

Ok i wjust want some thoughts ,opinions. stories ,valid points and perhaps where i coul find the pieces to do this. ok what do you guys think about the feasibility of switch a auto matic out whith a manual on a 2006 mustang v-6? i know i should just go and get a new one but i have this attachment to it and beside ive already done alot of stuff to it to include having the stripes painted and then clear coated on it

Probably be cheaper to trade in for a manual. If you do the swap, I would upgrade to a better manual tranny and see if a shop can fab it up on your setup. The clutches on the stock manual don't last long under abuse.

the stock manual tranny kinda sucks. Get a t-56 or something nice like that. if the bell housing bolts up it shouldn't be too crazy. it will need some fabbing as far as mounting goes and such, but you could do it. I'd talk to a shop that is well known to do a good job and that you trust not to rip you off...this is not a diy job.

our bell housings seperate from the tranies.. if you get a t-56 that bellongs in a ford car. the chances of your bell housing bolting up to it are a lot higher!, if not you will have to get a custom bellhousing made.. then a custom clutch on top of it..
