My parents finally wore me down to getting a new V6 stang. I really wanted a GT, but whatever. Ok, with bolt ons like duel exhuast, tuner, CAI, and small stuff like that. What should the 4.0 be pushing? I want at least 240-250 HP at the engine. The reason for this is i have a pontiac G6 GTP with a 3.9 pushing 240 HP 240 TORQUE. I want to be able to run with this car. Thanks guys.

I'd tell mom and dad that if they want me to buy a 6 banger, then pay for it. ;-)
You sound like you're ready for a GT to me.
Yes, the stang is upgradable to around 250 crank HP with add ons.
And even more with nitrous or a blower etc. ;-).
Check it out..........it's normally asperated with a few add ons like C and L CAI, Pypes true duals, Flowmasters, Ford Racing posi-trac rear end and a few custom tweaks to the tuner I got with the CAI system which is a Diablo Predator. Runs on 93 octane. Will run on 87 octane okay too but you have to run the global timing back around 6 degrees from where the 93 octane tune sets it.
The burn out was done on 87 octane by the way..

you will run with that car stock both that and us run low 15's stock.... now if you want the power, go axle-back (all of em are good for 10rwhp ish) and cai/tune combo, you will be around 240 at the crank probably more. duals wont show any more power than a single axle-back, i personally reccomend the mrt because it's my fav (thats why i bought it lol) and tunable inductions has a great deal on a cai/tune combo right now. www.tunableinduction.com with that cai/tune and the axle back you should walk all over gtp's no problem.

Ok thanks guys. Im going to try and watch that movie, but with my dailup it may take a year or more. 
Im going to buy a stick shift no matter what. Im tired of the automatics.
Oh yeah, i've been ready for a GT. I drive a 66 mustang with a V8 in it right now, so i really dont see what the deal is. PARENTS! GOD!

Ok i watched the video. I got some questions. First, It looks like an automatic correct?
Second, It looks like you power braked?? right? Thirdly, Would a stick shift with the stock rear end do anything like that?

the stock rear end isnt posi, so itll only spin one tire. but it will easily spin it.

a 66 v8 mustang doesn't really compare to a 07 GT.......I'm 19 and my parents were paranoid as **** to let me drive one. How old are you? It is A LOT of power to do something stupid with. That car should have way more respect than people give it. It is one powerful machine

you should be grateful that your parents are helping you at all. they could of tried to kick you out of the house when you turned 18. remember there's people out there who don't have cars at all.
