I have an '02, so I'm not sure about the '05-'06 models. But apparently my friend believes that with a single CAI he can gain 20 hp. Where as what I know for my model, you only gain a few hp.

I told him you only gain a few hp, but he insists otherwise. Am I right?

With an intake and a tune yea, you could see around a 20hp gain. With and intake alone? No, I doubt it.

Yes and know the worst intake for the 05-07 gives 7 hp, most of them give 12 hp, then u have the WMS which gives an easy 20 hp dyno proven. if you get one of those intakes that give around 12 hp and get a tune with it u can have anywhere from 20-25. TUne the wms and you are flirting with 30.

petepete, since you guys are talking about crank, wouldn't it be more like a few hp at the wheels? Also, does this go the same for new edge mustangs?

an intake without a tune is probably good for a max of 10rwhp. intake + tune can make 20rwhp. thats about 25 at the crank. I have not seen any independent dynos of the wms and it seems real overpriced to me.

yeah I agree on the HP gain from experience and also I agree on the price for a WMS CAI. The price is absolutely unnacceptable and unjustifiable IMO!

yup. The only reason i can see this system being that much better is if you are planning on having an all motor (this intake will not fit any of the f/i applications) road course car. Since there is a large amount of cool airflow to it, this intake would probably lower heatsoak ALOT.

There is a guy on another forum who has the WMS intake and an Motoblue pulley (only) and is dynoed at 220/240 (by a reputable tuner, forgot the name though)

both of those mods are ones that people seemed to shrug off....but if you ask me those are some pretty damn good numbers for just 2 mods
